An artsy corner at home...

Inspiration comes from inside, but definitely the space around you is crucial to develop your creativity... As an artist I used to pay a lot of attention to the place where I am; a place where I feel comfortable and inspired to work, I try little by little to build my own studio to have a specific place to work on my art. Anyway the worst thing about traveling is that I never can get a specific place at home for that, and I just go around with few stuffs on my luggage. I dream of the day I can stay in one place for long and I will create my own fashion studio!  But actually the experience of traveling and having this kind of problem with space helped me to realize how easy and cheap can be to decorate and improvise an awesome place to feel always like at home. I've  created a little gallery with some indoor pictures I took in my moments of inspiration, where I just used a few pounds to buy materials and a bit of creativity to change completely the space at home   :D

Why should you put  always a boring side table? Actually I just found a cheap chair! :p And I love it next to the bed, It looks a bit freak but it's a great idea if you don't want to be 'normal' and have the classical side table with drawers.

Buying some vinyls could be a great idea to do thousands of retro decorations at home, it has a cool style. By now we are collecting them, but thinking about creating a coffee table using just vinyls... ;)

A DIY moneybox! It is a coffee mug, The message is very clear... But still the first thing the people do in my house is to touch that!

The Bathroom! I just cannot stand an empty wall, and I needed some sexy girls to feel inspired every morning and do my make-up. Creating a collage with your favorite pictures from magazines could be fun and also gives a lot of personality to your home.

Take some time to think about the place where you live, and try to create a special corner just for you, for your ideas...for the things you like  for whatever you feel. It can just take a couple of minutes, and at the end is so useful, pratical and artistic. It could be a wall with your pictures, a board  with your thoughts or a painted wall. There is nothing compared with the happiness and calm that you feel at home. This place deserves a lot of attention and good energy.

*My chiffon bow neck tie*

The summer is ending... we become nostalgic and quiet. Little by little we start packing the skirts and the sandals and you start putting them in the most hidden part of  your closet; then we start buying winter boots and coats instead of glasses and shorts! :o I hate this moment, I really wish to stay in summer time at least for a couple of months more, that's why I would love to run away to Greece and live under the sun for the rest of my life. Anyway I am in Ireland so let's live under the rain! :) at the end is fun to change and discover a new fashion trend every season.
My weekly outfit is precisely dedicated to the autumn that is coming... the innocent and quiet part of my style mixed with some strong elements like hats and leather leggings. The protagonist of the day is the 'chiffon bow neck tie!' ( It has a very easy and short name...) It's definitely a great piece  for the season that is coming.

The chiffon bow neck tie is actually a very easy accessory to make. It can change completely an outfit and it is a very sweet and elegant detail. You can even take a piece of fabric tape and put it around the collar on your shirt. It has to be a bit width and long, and it's done! then you are free to play with your outfit.

My advice is always to combine this kind of outfits with some masculine pieces, like a blazer and some leather. It just gives a touch to the garment, and at the end it doesn't look too sweet or too girly, you keep it simple and sophisticated.

My inspiration -mood board- for this outfit: On the right a fashion illustration made by an illustrator and blogger Drawntostyle, and on the left a fashion quote by Yves Saint Laurent.

'There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people'

My pastel color palette. The sepia images, vintage style and the natural enviroment inspires me to create this outfit. took from

LONDON(derry)

In the Republic of Ireland is called -Derry-, while the United Kingdom called -Londonderry- yeah!! I never know how to call the places here :) so let's call it London! It is a little cozy town in Northern Ireland, It's the perfect place to visit and just disconnect from the world; That's the place we have visited during the last weekend. We wanted to know more about the beautiful landscape in Northern Ireland and also we wanted to relax, scape from the city, have a Guinness and 'criticize' a bit the look of the Irish girls :D 'which is our favorite hobby.'
Going by trein or bus from Belfast we got there pretty fast, the trip is really quiet and could be so inspiring... on one side you are looking at the green mountains and the sheeps jumping around, and on the other side the beautiful and 'hot' Irish sea. But it gives you the perfect enviroment to feel free, cool and happy.

'My traveling outfit' was taken in the last minute, I decided to wear kind of freak combination. half elegant and half sporty. One part of me wanted to go to the gym, and the other part wanted to go for a fancy trip. But actually this trend could be quite interesting if you know how to combine it correctly.
I just didn't want to carry on any luggage, so I combined a High school jacket with denim shorts to wear during the trip; and then, at the moment of visiting the town I changed completely the outfit wearing a Pencil black skirt. The best thing in life is being practical, even in Fashion.

Of course we took advantage of the situation to do some street photography.

Ohh! Street fashion in Londonderry! I think they are a bit vintage... Just a little bit (...300 years...)

And we couldn't miss the Pub! so vintage, so Irish, so alcoholic, we love going and have a Guinness listening to the Irish traditional music.

The protagonist of the weekend, I wanted to take more pictures of him, but he moved a lot! Anyway was so good model, so hot! :D

The Craft Village in Londonderry is definitely one of the best places in the town. I've got crazy with every artistic detail they put there, looks like a piece of  land dedicated to the art. Also you can find designer's shops and high gourmet restaurants.

I took like 100 hunderd of pictures to this woman, actually she looks so tired of me on this picture :P sorry! but I couldn't resist, she was beautiful and also the enviroment was so classic and historical. The town itself is exotic and special. They knew how to celebrate a feast day!

The famous walls of Northern Ireland. They are still painted in almost every house.
